If you look around you, the kind of political divisiveness around us, the climate crisis, the general slow decay of humanity that we see around us every day on the news. That is actually something which we all are feeling increasingly every day. A person with a god complex and daddy issues to someone who truly and deeply believes that the current world is damaged beyond repair.
But for us adapting the novel and setting the novel in 2018, we thought that the reasons in the book were not fully convincing and we came up with a new reason. Chandra, there is this character called Guruji who wants to plant a nuclear bomb in Bombay and he has his reasons in the novel. He wanted to bring Satyug on the surface, but his real intention was to destroy the world to avenge his father’s arrest. Pankaj Tripathi's character has a strange backstory.
